Get ready for another fantastic year of Wexner Center educational programming at our annual preview.

Teachers and administrators from all disciplines, whether active or preservice, are invited to the Open House. Come sample some tasty treats, learn about our programs, tour the galleries, and hear from this year's guest speaker, artist Michael Mercil. Mercil, an associate professor in Ohio State's art department, is currently presenting and developing a piece titled The Virtual Pasture just outside the Wexner Center (by the College Road entrance). Like Mercil's The Beanfield (a previous piece in the same location), Virtual Pasture is an "agri/cultural" project that explores agriculture and human relationships, this time looking specifically at our connections to, and distance from, animals and livestock. Read Mercil's thoughts about Virtual Pasture on our blog.

Teachers who attend the Open House have the chance to register their classes first for our ZOOM school-day film screenings—a day in advance of everyone else. Call (614) 292-6493 or e-mail edweb@wexarts.org by September 18 to RSVP.
