Video Remix/Mashups

Do you make video and sound remix/mashups? Are you interested in media activism? Check out this free workshop led by Mindy Faber of the Media Youth Network in Chicago.

It's designed for both teens and teachers, and it's your chance to enlighten one of your teachers by inviting them to join you in exploring this form of creative democracy—and so helping bring it to other young people. A practicing digital artist and youth media educator, Faber will open the floor to discussion about the political, legal, and ethical dimensions of remix including a discussion about copyright and fair use.
