Wex Lab: Object Animation/Claymation! Workshop Full

In this workshop for teens and tweens, you’ll spend the day working with Rachel Althof and Wex educator Jean Pitman as you make a short object-based animation/claymation that will be put up on YouTube.

You can work alone or bring a friend or two to work together on one project. Please come with a story in mind and any objects you want to incorporate into your animation/claymation, including food items (make those cheesy puffs dance across the screen), stuffed animals, action figures, models, matchbox cars, interesting background materials or photos, objects from nature, and anything else you can think of.

At the end of the workshop, we’ll talk about Ohio Shorts: Youth Division—viewing projects from previous years and answering questions about submitting your work. If time permits, we’ll also screen other international animated shorts. Free lunch is included.
