As Columbus's own DJ Krate Digga noted recently, "Just 'cause you can't leave your house, doesn't mean you can't still dance around the world!"
And just because it's a weekday, that doesn't mean you can't get a dance party started in your living room.
Krate, seen at the Wex last August during the gallery party DEMO: Bringing Down the House, has a new weekly event called RESA. It streams live via YouTube and his website on Wednesdays, starting at 7 PM EST.
"Resa, from the Twi language, means 'dance,'" he explains. "This livestream DJ experience features reggae, dancehall, Afrobeats, and other selections from the diaspora. [Its] blend of digital and analog performance is intended to keep you moving."
For a preview of this Wednesday's event, we've embedded the archived session from April 1 below.
Hear a track you really love? Tell your friends! We'd like to know, too. Share it on our Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram feeds.
Watch the next RESA livestream Wednesday, April 15 at 7 PM EST.
