There's more than Fellini coming to our Film/Video Theater in July. In addition to our summer retrospective spotlighting the great Italian filmmaker, we have two visually arresting new films on tap for later in the month. Check out both trailers above.
Michelangelo Frammartino's Il Buco dramatizes the true adventures of young speleologists who in 1961 explored the bottom of Europe’s deepest cave (as known at the time), discovering a world that few living creatures had ever experienced hidden underneath a quiet village. Il Buco screens Friday, July 22 at 7 PM.
Coming to town on a wave of rave reviews, Neptune Frost is Saul Williams' and Anisia Uzeyman's Afrofuturist vision of a revolutionary computer hacker collective created by escaped miners in Burundi, who rise up to overthrow a corrupt and murderous regime. Neptune Frost screens Friday and Saturday, July 29–30 at 7 PM.
