• It’s Gallery Hop weekend and the offerings Saturday night include a Sharon Rond show at Sharon Weiss Gallery, work by Phoenix Rising Printmaking Cooperative at Emergent Art & Craft, and photography by CCAD upperclass students at Sean Christopher Gallery.
• Sunday, painter Mark Hampton has his first solo show at the Lincoln Theatre.
• Also Sunday, Lindsay Gallery opens a group show of work that was originally intended for the since-cancelled art fair Intersect Chicago Navy Pier.
• Wednesday, Roy Lichtenstein Foundation Chair of Art History Jody Patterson will lead the first of two conversations about the Art Unites Cbus murals on view around campus, this one featuring participants Guisela Latorre and Marshall Shorts.
• The Columbus Museum of Art has officially opened the George Bellows Center.
• The College of Arts and Sciences caught up with alum Sonya Huber and her new book, Supremely Tiny Acts.
