  • It’s Gallery Hop weekend. The Wex will be participating virtually and on site alongside multiple Short North spaces, Sean Christopher Gallery among them.
  • The experimental animation series Malt Adult is also back on Saturday, with a program streaming at 8 PM that includes new works by Lily Shaul and local animator Anjali Tewani.
  • Creative support group Mother Artists at Work have a group showcase online and at 934 Gallery this month.
  • The Riffe Gallery has also refreshed with an exhibition of work from the Quilt Surface Design Symposium with artists like Deborah Griffing and Sue Cavanaugh. There’s also a virtual gallery tour available.
  • Former Herman Miller designer Don Staufenberg has a show of mixed media work that just opened at the Dublin Arts Council.
  • Ace of Cups owner Marcy Mays continues the club’s outdoor series, joining a Thursday lineup with Bloodthirsty Virgins and Amy Turn Sharp.
  • Next weekend, the doc Re-Story: Transforming Veteran Stories into Art, produced by CCAD students Madeline Anson and Madison Van Buren and featuring local artist Leni Anderson (all three are seen at top of page), will stream as part of the National Veterans Film Festival with a livestream Q&A on Friday.
  • Sadly, CD102.5, the much-loved and locally owned alternative station, has moved off the FM airwaves, but it’s still streaming online.
