Steve Pruchnicki

Senior Fiscal Officer

Steve Pruchnicki joined the Wexner Center in 2022 and currently serves as the center’s senior fiscal officer. He has served several positions within the university, most recently with Ohio State’s College of Education and Human Ecology and College of Arts and Sciences.

Pruchnicki is responsible for the oversight, strategic forecasting, and maintenance of established and future financial operations at the center, with a strong focus on sustainability and financial strength. In his role, Pruchnicki advises the director and senior leaders on all aspects of the center’s financial matters, provides analyses and projections consistent with the university budget process, leads staff in financial operations, and leads strategic planning in collaboration with the chief operating officer.

Pruchnicki’s interests include film (experimental, science fiction, and horror), industrialism, and design of interior and exterior environments. Pruchnicki has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accountancy and a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Management from Ohio State. He is also an active certified public accountant in the State of Ohio.
