The Freedom to Marry

(Eddie Rosenstein, 2016)

Eddie Rosenstein in person

The Freedom to Marry

A compelling look at one of this era’s most transformative civil rights movements, The Freedom to Marry chronicles the grassroots campaign to legalize same-sex marriage in the United States. Focusing on attorney and advocate Evan Wolfson, whom many consider the leader of the movement, Freedom powerfully and poignantly captures all of the drama leading up to the 2015 Supreme Court. (86 mins., DCP)

The director joins us to introduce the film and after the screening for a Q&A session.
