We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. If you have questions about accessibility or require an accommodation such as ASL interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Accessibility Manager Helyn Marshall at accessibility@wexarts.org or via telephone at (614) 688-3890. Requests made by two weeks in advance will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the Wexner Center for the Arts will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
Our all-ages weekend of free films and activities now includes a celebration of reading—featuring a kid-friendly artist talk with children’s book illustrator Keturah A. Bobo.
Along with the new focus on children’s books, this year’s festival includes such Zoom favorites as a hands-on art-making studio, ice cream social, international films focusing on kids’ perspectives, and comedic classics. Join us for a weekend chock-full of fun for the whole family. Check out a full program schedule below.
Parents, if you have any questions about Zoom activities and films or their content, please email Wexner Center Community, Youth, and Family Programs Manager Jean Pitman at jpitman@wexarts.org.

Modern Times(Charlie Chaplin, 1936)Fri, Dec 9 | 7 PMFilm/Video TheaterModern Times is the ultimate showcase for Charlie Chaplin’s character Little Tramp—among the most famous figures in movie history, and one beloved by all ages. For his last onscreen appearance, the Tramp takes on a brief stint at a factory job, just the occasion for some of Chaplin’s most inspired comedic scenarios including a feeding machine designed to make efficient use of his lunch hour. Mixing techniques from silent and sound movies, this classic humorously examines the challenges of "the little man" in the machine age while also marking the first time Chaplin’s voice was heard on film—singing a delightfully nonsensical tune. Recommended for ages 6 and up. (87 mins., 35mm)
