The Death of Mr. Lazarescu

A great, somewhat depressing article in today's New York Times by A.O. Scott shines a light on the lack of visibility (now at chronic levels) of foreign films in the good ol' U.S.A. “Somewhat” depressing, because several of the films he cites as examples of recent fare that went largely unnoticed by mainstream critics and audiences alike (The Death of Mr. Lazarescu, Three Times) actually screened at the Wexner Center within the past six months.
