WexCast: Visiting filmmakers of 2017

In 2017, the Wex welcomed over two dozen visiting filmmakers to present and discuss their work with local film lovers. For this WexCast, Director of Film/Video David Filipi, Film/Video Studio Director Jennifer Lange, and Associate Curator Chris Stults share memories and stories from behind the scenes of our Visiting Filmmakers program, along with clips from some of the on-stage conversations to come out of it. Featured are Lili Taylor, Sam Pollard, Charles Burnett, Tony Buba, Dani and Sheilah Restack, My Friend Dahmer author John "Derf" Backderf, and the inspiring women of Pens to Pictures—including the recently paroled Tyra Patterson.
