A person stands in a gallery and sketches in a notebook.

Drawing is for everyone...no experience required.

All are welcome to participate in a new series at the Wex where local artists lead casual, low-stakes drawing sessions in the galleries. You will be invited to slow down and look closely, noticing things you may otherwise walk past.

Come curious, come rusty, come just to be around other people making things. Each Sketch session is a chance to be in conversation with the art, others in the room, and your creative self. All levels of experience are welcome, from first-time doodlers to longtime artists looking for community. Supplies will be provided.
