Man in a mirror

“Uniquely tender....A first film that is born from a filmmaker who already knows a great deal about sex, love, and cinema.”—Ira Sachs

A sly and sophisticated take on gay romance in the 21st century, 4 Days in France begins when Pierre sneaks away from his lover Paul one ordinary morning in Paris. Using only his phone’s Grindr app as his guide, Pierre travels through the French countryside moving from one curious encounter to another. Paul then sets off after him, using his own phone to track Pierre’s movements in a strange and wonderful game of cat-and-mouse. (137 mins., DCP)
