Director Erik Greenberg Anjou introduces his extraordinary new documentary Chazz'n, a work in progress that received postproduction support in the Wexner Center's Art and Technology studio. Director Erik Greenberg Anjou's film offers a wide-ranging portrait of the renowned modern cantor Jacob Ben-Zion Mendelson, the living bridge between past and present that the art of chazzanut (Jewish liturgical song) embodies. It features modern concert and archival footage, as well as interviews with celebrated cantors (not to mention Jackie Mason and Alan Dershowitz). (90 mins.)

Carole Fink (Department of History) moderates a Q and A session after the screening.
