Kelly Gallagher—Animator

Kelly Gallagher’s handcrafted animations and experimental collage films encompass investigations of radical politics and movements of resistance as well as personal, essayistic explorations. Her works, including FROM ALLY TO ACCOMPLICE (2015), Do You Want to Go for a Drive? (2016), and More Dangerous Than a Thousand Rioters (2016), have screened internationally at such venues as the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.; the Chicago Underground Film Festival; and the Sheffield Doc/Fest. This program includes her new film, MY GOSSIP, which explores the special bonds of female friendship. Gallagher is currently assistant professor of film at Syracuse University.
