The Little Prince

(Mark Osborne, 2015)

Mark Osborne in person

The Little Prince

Academy-award nominated Kung Fu Panda director Mark Osborne brings Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s 1943 classic novella The Little Prince to life in this enchanting stop-motion, computer-animated adaptation. In the novella, an aviator crashes in the desert and encounters a prince who has been stranded on Earth from another planet. Osborne’s The Little Prince weaves threads from the source material into an original story about a little girl who befriends the now-aged narrator from the original story. (108 mins., DCP)
