(Kurt Vincent, 2015)
$6 members, students, seniors $8 general public
Despite the recent resurgence of video arcades in Columbus, the once ubiquitous hangouts have been on the verge of extinction for years. In this doc The Lost Arcade, Columbus native Kurt Vincent chronicles the final days of New York City’s Chinatown Fair, the last of the old-school arcades in a city that once had dozens. Opened in the 1940s, Chinatown Fair has persisted for decades despite gang wars, rent hikes, and the rise in home gaming. (80 mins., DCP)
