Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s great 1564 painting The Procession to Calvary comes to life in this visually stunning, one-of-a-kind film. The acclaimed Polish filmmaker Lech Majewski re-creates Bruegel’s windmill-dominated tableau and tells the stories of some of the figures in the landscape. With Rutger Hauer, Charlotte Rampling, and Michael York.
