Exploitation impresario Howard W. “Kroger” Babb wrapped a cinematic sermon about the vital importance of sex education around then-scandalous depictions of venereal disease and childbirth. One of the most successful films of its kind, Mom and Dad played continuously for 30 years and grossed more than $40 million at the box office.
