Nancy Holt: Short Films and Videos

Introduced by Lisa Le Feuvre, executive director, Holt/Smithson Foundation

Four photos from Nancy Holt's short films.

Discover Nancy Holt’s pioneering film and video works that complement our spring exhibition Nancy Holt: Power Systems.

Artist Nancy Holt is most associated with her large-scale, site-specific installations, including Sun Tunnels in Utah, and her room-sized System Works. However, she was also an innovator in other disciplines, including sculpture, photography, video, and film. This program of her film and video work is presented in conjunction with Holt's exhibition in the galleries. Holt/Smithson Foundation Executive Director and Nancy Holt: Power Systems curator Lisa Le Feuvre introduces the films. (Program approx. 79 mins., digital video)
