“Won’t just entertain your family for a little while, it will also inspire everyone to find a new passion!”—New York Daily News

Clocking in at speeds over 70 mph is the exciting and fascinating Racing Dreams, an amazing documentary that takes us into the lives of three young people (two boys and a girl, ages 11–13) and their families as the kids compete for the championship in the World Karting Association’s National Pavement Series—the little league of NASCAR. The film has been charming audiences (including people who don’t know the first thing about motorsports) across the country and winning Best Documentary awards at film festivals from Tribeca to Indianapolis. (96 mins., video)

Please join us after the film for a brief discussion with local racing enthusiasts Paul and Lisa Lyda and their sons Ben, Jeff, Matt, and PJ. The entire family is involved in racing with Mid State Ohio Kart Club (MSOKC).They’ll answer your questions about racing and share their experiences.
