Just added! Martin Scorsese’s new documentary on Bob Dylan’s 1975 Rolling Thunder tour screens at the Wex during a whirlwind, one-night-only “road show.” The best part: admission is free, with seating first come, first served.

In an alchemical mix of rock doc, concert film, and fever dream, Scorsese (a former Wexner Prize recipient) looks back at this legendary, small-venue tour, capturing along the way a country ripe for reinvention. Dylan’s band featured an all-star roster that included Joan Baez, T Bone Burnett, Roger McGuinn (The Byrds), Joni Mitchell, Mick Ronson (David Bowie), and poet Allen Ginsberg. Look for cameos by mid-70s scenesters Sam Shepard, Patti Smith, and Anne Waldman, among others.

This will likely be your only chance to see this long-awaited film on the big screen—the doc stops at only a few theaters around the US. (142 mins., DCP) Come early and enjoy the galleries and Wexner Center Store, both open until 7 PM.

Please note: seating is not guaranteed and limited to theater capacity.
