Snow White

Thought lost for over 80 years—but now rediscovered and restored—this early, silent adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale is often credited as the first film Walt Disney saw (and the reason he used the same story for his own first feature 20 years later). Popular stage actress Marguerite Clark charmingly plays Snow White, and several of her scenes with the seven dwarves (here named Blick, Flick, Glick, Snick, Plick, Whick, and Quee) were a clear inspiration for the Disney classic. (63 mins., 35mm)

Parking note: please allow extra time for parking due to multiple events scheduled in the campus area. An alternative parking location is Arps Garage, located to the north of the center on College Road and open to the public on weekends.
