Tania Modleski, Florence R. Scott Professor of English at the University of Southern California, examines popular “bromances” and the notion of male weepies in the form of such recent films as Superbad (2007) and Knocked Up (2007).

Modleski is the author of numerous articles and books, including The Women Who Knew Too Much: Hitchcock and Feminist Theory (1988) and Feminism without Women: Culture and Criticism in a Postfeminist Age (1991).
