This intimate portrait captures the life and work of an influential artist most associated with the distinctive drawings he made in the subways of New York City in the 1980s.

Haring’s mantra was "art is for everyone," and he lived it by devoting the majority of his too-brief career to public works, often with strong social messages. Haring died of complications from AIDS in 1990 at the age of 31. The film features interviews and archival footage of Andy Warhol, Yoko Ono, Madonna, David LaChapelle, and more. (82 mins., video)
