Documenting a moment in US history that still resonates powerfully today, The War at Home traces the growth of the anti–Vietnam War movement at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1963 to 1970. Using archival footage and interviews with key figures, the filmmakers capture the increasingly confrontational and violent dynamic between student protesters, law enforcement, and the National Guard that culminated in the bombing of the Army Math Research Center on campus.
