Jared J. Riley

Co-interim Head of Advancement

Jared J. Riley joined the Wexner Center for the Arts in 2020 as the director of donor relations and was promoted to director of advancement operations in 2023. Currently, Riley serves on the Wexner Center’s executive management team as co-interim head of advancement, closely partnering with the executive director to create and lead the center’s philanthropic strategy and advance the institution’s reputation and resources.

In 2017, Riley started his professional journey at Ohio State as a donor relations and stewardship coordinator at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. During his seven-year tenure, Riley built relationships with donors and sponsors to increase philanthropic support, executed live and virtual events to advance the university’s mission and deliver on engagement and revenue goals, and fostered a culture that inspired exceptionally diverse and talented teams. More recently, Riley served as vice president on the board of trustees for the Actors’ Theatre of Columbus.

Riley has a Bachelor of Arts and Science in theater and a Master of Public Administration and Leadership focusing on nonprofit management, both from Ohio State.
