Kim Kollman

Interim Head of Exhibitions

Kim Kollman joined the Wexner Center for the Arts in 2016 as the senior registrar in the exhibitions department. She now serves as the director of exhibition planning and services, as well as the interim head of exhibitions. As a member of the Wexner Center’s executive management team, she is part of a cross-departmental group of senior leadership that advises the executive director on strategic planning and implementing center goals.

Kollman is responsible for the daily operations of the exhibitions department. This includes short and long-term strategic planning and the budgeting of the department’s work. She manages the curatorial, registration, administration, and preparator teams. Additionally, she oversees the exhibitions archive and guides the planning and implementation of temporary exhibitions, permanent collection projects, and outdoor installations.

With fifteen years of experience in exhibition and registration management, Kollman came to the Wexner Center after working as an assistant registrar at the Cleveland Museum of Art (2008–14) and Columbus Museum of Art (2014–16). Kollman has a Bachelor of Arts in art history from Ohio University and a Master of Arts in museum studies from Case Western Reserve.
