2024–25 Internships

Thank you for your interest in an internship at the Wexner Center for the Arts. Applications for the positions listed below are now open!

All interns participate in a center-wide internship cohort. To support this cohort, the Department of Learning & Public Practice offers professional development sessions and gatherings that interns are expected to attend. We welcome feedback on the internship program as a whole and seek to foster a collaborative and generative environment for all interns.

The Wexner Center for the Arts is The Ohio State University’s multidisciplinary, international laboratory for the exploration and advancement of contemporary art. The Wexner Center values diversity and offers a supportive, open, and inclusive community. We encourage candidates to apply, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age. Wex internships are open to

  • students currently enrolled in a college or university (graduating seniors, graduate students, and international students are welcome),
  • recent high school or university graduates (1 to 3 years post completion), and
  • emerging professionals with less than 5 years of experience in the arts and culture or nonprofit fields.

Compensation: Pay range is $10 to $14 per hour. The amount and method of payment will be determined by candidate experience. The Wex can also support course credit work through the candidate’s home academic unit in lieu of monetary compensation if preferred.

Important Dates

  • Friday, March 1, 2024: Internship applications for 2024 through 2025 become available

  • Monday, April 1, 2024: Application deadline

  • April 2024: Interviews are conducted

  • May 2024: Finalists offered positions
