Animation Action Analysis: John Canemaker on Golden Age Disney Masters Vladimir Tytla and Milt Kahl

Join Oscar-winning animator, prolific historian, and past Wexner Center Artist Residency Award Recipient John Canemaker as he examines the extraordinary Disney classic Pinocchio through the individual work of lead animators Vladimir “Bill” Tytla and Milt Kahl. Many historians consider Pinocchio to be the greatest achievement in hand-drawn, feature-length animation, and in this talk Canemaker illuminates the painstaking processes that brought the film to such creative heights.
