Aly Bain, fiddler extraordinaire and founding member of Boys of the Lough, teams up with Swedish multi-instrumentalist Ale Maller (of ECM Records' Nordan project and the Swedish avant-folk trio Frifot) to illuminate the connections between Nordic and Celtic music.

Moller's mastery of the mandola and wind instruments perfectly complements Bain's Shetland Islands fiddle style, as well as his forays with the haunting hardanger fiddle from Norway.
