Get ready for a forward-thinking folk fest with fiddler Aly Bain (Boys of the Lough) and Swedish multi-instrumentalist Ale Moller.

"Shows just how cultures merge and mingle into each other over time...such wonderful playing."--All Music Guide

Get ready for a forward-thinking folk fest. Aly Bain, fiddler extraordinaire and founding member of Boys of the Lough, teams up with Swedish multi-instrumentalist Ale Maller (of ECM Records' Nordan project and the Swedish avant-folk trio Frifot) to illuminate the connections between Nordic and Celtic music.

Moller's mastery of the mandola and wind instruments perfectly complements Bain's Shetland Islands fiddle style, as well as his forays with the haunting hardanger fiddle from Norway.

Hear traditional sounds meld with modern ideas as these soulful players intertwine in concert as they did on Fully Rigged, their debut CD for the NorthSide label.
