"Expanding dance's expressive powers...this Israeli ensemble pulses with energy"--Washington Post

Batsheva, Israel's finest contemporary dance company, returns with their celebratory program Deca Dance. This captivating choreographic medley inventively remixes key passages from the first decade of lauded artistic director Ohad Naharin's work for the company to form a new full-evening piece, Deca Dance.

Winner of last year's prestigious Bessie Award for best choreography, Naharin is known for dynamic productions with striking imagery that have put him on a par with other international talents like Jiri Kylian and William Forsythe.

The New York Times praised Batsheva's vibrant dancers, noting how their "ceaseless originality fuses with eye riveting energy," while calling Deca Dance "a whirlpool of movement and emotion." Join us for this special evening with one of the world's foremost companies.

Batsheva's U.S. tour is presented in association with David Eden Productions, Ltd. and Marcia Preiss Management.

Presented by the Wexner Center in association with BalletMet Columbus.
