"Radically reworked standards that brooded and rippled... bringing mystery with harp-like sweeps and fast, splintering runs."--New York Times Whether enthralling audiences with cascading torrents on the keys or opening up a composition with reflective pauses, French-American jazz pianist Jacky Terrasson takes you on a musical journey replete with adventure and a compelling sense of wonder. Alone at the piano, Terrasson displays his unique take on tunes from artists as diverse as Bud Powell and Stevie Wonder. He also offers incisive readings of his own work, often stretching out with probing Keith Jarrett–like ruminations that dazzle with invention and charm. Terrasson made an auspicious Wexner Center debut with his trio as part of his inaugural U.S. tour back in 1995. His return is long overdue, and this solo session will intimately reacquaint fans with his special talents.
