"The fireball intensity of the dancers...is astounding."
--New York Times

Our annual partnership with The King Arts Complex sees the return of choreographer Ronald K. Brown and his company, Evidence, who have thrilled audiences on previous visits.

Walking Out the Dark, the latest work from Ronald K. Brown and his company, Evidence, involves a central image of a spirit guide drawn from Brown's research into the traditions of West Africa, Brazil, and Cuba. Melding ritualistic movement with contemporary dance forms, Brown creates charged scenarios enlivened by his highly adept ensemble.
