"Savath and Savalas is pure genius."--Village Voice

Savath and Savalas is one of several monikers adopted by digital music innovator Scott Herren—a.k.a. Prefuse 73—for his varied projects. Reflecting the impact of his move to Barcelona and collaboration with singer/songwriter Eva Puyuelo Muns, his latest outing with Savath & Savalas features an organic approach. In this collaboration, instrumentation and vocals are inspired by rich Catalan culture as well as Scott Herren's own forward-thinking electronica. Look for the new Savath and Savalas CD, Apropa't, on Warp Records.

Joining Herren on this tour is another folktronica explorer, the Argentine singer Juana Molina, whose recent release, Segundo, has generated international buzz with its original and beguiling moodscapes. Rolling Stone's Andy Gensler called it "an often gorgeous record...kaleidoscopic... edgy...and exquisite...sometimes all at once."

Opening the show is Nobody, an LA-based DJ who's receiving rave reviews for his latest release, Pacific Drift on Ubiquity Records.
