The Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University has hired Cathy Predmore (she/her) as its new Head of Communications and Marketing, effective July 3. She will join the Wexner Center from Fahlgren Mortine, where she has served as senior vice president since April 2019. Wexner Center Executive Director Gaëtane Verna notes, “We are excited to have Cathy join the center. Bringing over 30 years of experience in brand strategy, communications, and integrated marketing, she will be a key figure in shaping our institution’s next era. Partnering with the center’s talented communications and marketing professionals and leadership team, I’m confident she will engage and sustain a multifaceted constituency for the center and help take it to new heights.”
Before her tenure at Fahlgren Mortine, Predmore was vice president of marketing and communications at the Hondros Education Group, an executive account director at Ologie, the vice president of marketing and communications at Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, and senior vice president for Paul Werth Associates. Additionally, Predmore has worked with a wide range of client organizations, including JobsOhio, COSI (Center of Science and Industry), National Veterans Memorial & Museum, Ohio History Connection, The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, University of Portland, University of Baltimore, the Mount Vernon Arts Consortium, and the Seattle Aquarium.
Recently, Predmore helped develop award-winning campaigns recognized for diversity and inclusion. She also has extensive experience in the educational sphere, including work with companies such as Pearson, Lincoln Educational Services, and The Great Books Foundation.

Predmore’s work has received multiple awards, including the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) PRism Awards, MarCom Awards, a Pinnacle Award from Donate Life America, and Bulldog Reporter Awards. Her accolades include the Silver Star Award for Brand Recognition for Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. She has served on the boards of the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center and CATCO (now The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio).
