Monthlong series includes Ohio premieres, cult classics

The Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University presents Pride: A Celebration of Queer Movies, a five-film series running May 27–June 26.

Featuring an exciting lineup of films from premieres of buzzed-about new releases (including F*cktoys, one of the best reviewed films of the last year) to a fresh restoration of a legendary cult classic (Pink Narcissus), Pride is a celebration of love, desire, and identity coming at a time when queer rights across the world are under attack.

“While the Wex frequently includes LGBTQIA+ friendly programs, we’re thrilled to host such a wide variety of films during Pride Month,” says Chris Stults, curator in the Wex’s Film Department, “many of these films are sneak peeks and premieres audiences won’t see anywhere else in Columbus. It’s a month filled with great movies, waiting to be discovered.”

Tickets are available now, in person at the Wexner Center for the Arts, by calling (614) 292-3535, or online. Tickets for each screening are $12 for the general public, $8 for Wexner Center members, $9 for adults 55 and over, and $6 for students. Prices include all fees. Fees are waived for members and in-person purchases. Wex members receive free parking with their ticket purchase. All other ticket buyers receive discounted $5 parking in the Arps, Ohio Union North, and Ohio Union South Garages.
