Cancer Support Community Yoga

Join us at the Wexner Center for the Arts for gentle yoga with Abby Dorn, an event organized in collaboration with the Cancer Support Community. Gentle yoga combines exercise, breathing, and meditation to help induce relaxation, reduce stress, and improve blood flow and alignment of the mind and body. The class can be taken at any fitness level, even in the midst of cancer treatment. Dorn will help you modify movements for your current physical ability. This event is open to the public. Following the yoga session, you’re invited for a tour of the exhibition Barbara Hammer: In This Body in the Wexner Center Galleries with Director of Education Shelly Casto. Featuring Hammer’s Wex-supported, multichannel video installation Evidentiary Bodies (2018), this stunning exhibition captures the scope of the late artist’s rich, interdisciplinary practice with a focus on works dealing with illness, aging, and mortality.
