Listen Before You Look:Helen Molesworth and Ruth Erickson on Black Mountain College

Hear from the two curators behind our fall exhibition, Leap Before You Look: Black Mountain College 1933–1957. Helen Molesworth is currently chief curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, and served as the chief curator at the Institute for Contemporary Art/Boston when Leap Before You Look was conceived. Molesworth was chief curator at the Wexner Center 2002–7, organizing such acclaimed exhibitions as Part Object/Part Sculpture (2005) and Solitaire (2008). Ruth Erickson is currently associate curator at ICA/Boston and has been with the museum since 2012. She holds a PhD in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania.
