Award-winning author Nick Flynn reads from his work Another Bullshit Night in Suck City (2004), the most exciting personal memoir in recent years. The book chronicles his life after reencountering his con-man of a father while working as a caseworker in a Boston homeless shelter.

Flynn has published the poetry collections Blind Huber (2002) and Some Ether (2000), which Booklist ranked among the 10 best of that year. His poems and essays have appeared in the New Yorker, the Nation, and on National Public Radio's This American Life. Flynn teaches at the University of Houston and lives in upstate New York.
