Tom Perrotta Writer's Reading

Bestselling author Tom Perrotta, a “master of the lump-in-the-throat reversal” (New York Times), returns to Columbus to read from his recent work.

The Abstinence Teacher (2007), his much-discussed latest novel, puts a new spin on the culture wars of contemporary suburbia. Perrotta is also the author of Little Children, Joe College, Election, The Wishbones, and Bad Haircut: Stories of the Seventies. Both Election and Little Children were adapted into critically acclaimed films. Perrotta received an Academy Award nomination for his collaboration in writing the screenplay for Little Children.
