Gala Update:

Dear Friends,

You have by now undoubtedly heard the tragic news regarding Jennifer Hudson's family, and we extend our heartfelt prayers and condolences to her. In view of this tragedy, Jennifer will not be performing at the Wexner Center Anniversary Gala as originally planned. Out of respect for the artist and her family, we will not pursue an alternative entertainer. We will proceed with all other aspects of the evening on Saturday, November 8. We look forward to welcoming you to the center, to sharing an intimate opportunity to view our spectacular Warhol exhibition, and most of all, to celebrating each and every one of you, who make such stellar programs possible.

Again, we appreciate your understanding and support, as always.

Sincerely,

Sherri Geldin, Wexner Center Director
Judy Tuckerman and Joyce Shenk, Donor Circles Council

You'll be a star at this year's anniversary gala!

The evening features a sumptuous cocktail buffet and an exclusive opportunity to explore Andy Warhol: Other Voices, Other Rooms, the spectacular exhibition currently on view at the Wexner Center. Gala guests will also have the chance to win a dazzling Tiffany gift.

Cap the evening with delectably sweet desserts, and stay for a late-night extravaganza at Andyland, a party in true Warhol style. Dance to vintage soul, jazz, and Warhol-inspired music, and take in a special DJ set by fast-rising artist and producer RJD2. (Admission to Andyland is free for all gala guests.)

The annual gala is one of the many events and privileges enjoyed year-round by members of the Wexner Center's Donor Circles and Corporate Council groups at certain levels of giving. Find out more about the gala and how you or your business can benefit from membership. Andy Warhol changed the world's view of art with his ideas about celebrity and creativity. The Other Voices, Other Rooms exhibition brings together an unprecedented range and variety of his work, with some 700 items on view. The show is making its only U.S. stop at the Wexner Center. (It already earned rave reviews in Amsterdam and Stockholm and is also on view this fall in London.)

Columbus native and hip-hop star RJD2's last two visits to the Wexner Center have been completely sold out. His participation in Andyland is sure to make it a very special party.

Of course, the biggest stars of this evening are our guests, whose generosity makes the Wexner Center's programs possible all year long. Tonight we roll out the red carpet just for you!
