Hey, fashion lovers! If you know your way around ink and watercolors or a set of colored pencils, we have a contest in the playful, inspirational spirit of designer Todd Oldham with a grand prize of a mini shopping spree at Easton Town Center. Details below:
1. Create a fashion illustration with a '90s vibe. You can sketch one of the ensembles in All of Everything: Todd Oldham Fashion, like local artist Amy Linville did for the piece above, but we'd love to see original designs, too.
2. Post a pic of your work on Instagram on or before Tuesday, April 10.
3. Be sure to tag it with @wexarts and #wex90sfashion. (We can't find your entry without these.)
Two standout sketches will be chosen by our Marketing and Design team and the artists behind them will each receive a prize of a $150 gift card good for stuff from a variety of stores and restaurants at Easton Town Center.
Enter as many sketches as you'd like. Prize winners will be announced on this blog and on Instagram on Wednesday, April 11.
The rules: Contest open through 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. No purchase necessary. Entrants must be 16 years of age or older. Entries must be works created on or after February 2, 2018. Employees of the Wexner Center for the Arts and their families are not eligible. The Wexner Center reserves the right to share images of entries in marketing materials, including website and social media channels. Instagram entries must be tagged with "@wexarts" and "#wex90sfashion" to be considered. Non-Instagram method of entry is available; email scologie@wexarts.org or mstarker@wexarts.org for details.
