Playlist: Alloy Orchestra's favorite soundtracks

Alloy Orchestra is returning to the Wex for a spooky pre-Halloween presentation of Jaque Catelain's 1924 silent thriller La gallerie des monstres on Tuesday, October 29. The trio that makes up Alloy—Ken Winokur, Terry Donohue, and Roger C. Miller—is currently touring with the film, and they agreed to spend part of their long car ride compiling a list of some of their favorite soundtracks. Selections range from the esoteric (Harry Partch's theatrical score for Delusion of the Fury) to the ubiquitous (John Williams' score for the original Star Wars and Danny Elfman's theme for The Simpsons).
