Playlist: Dane Terry

Columbus native and New York sensation Dane Terry joins us on Friday, November 22 for a set of songs and stories in the Performance Space—part of a full night of entertainment and engagement that also includes late gallery hours for the fall exhibition HERE and a celebration of the 30th anniversary of film distributor Strand Releasing.

Before his visit, Terry has shared a stream-of-consciousness playlist of tracks and artists who've influenced him or otherwise blown his mind. It's a fabulously eclectic selection, touching on classical (Ravel and Stravinsky), alternative (Laurie Anderson and Antony and the Johnsons), jazz (Al Hirt and Bobby McFerrin), and some of the greatest songwriters of the past few decades, including Carole King, Randy Newman, and Rufus Wainwright.
