Playlist: Inspired by Futura2000 & Zephyr

The impending March 2 conversation between writer-curator Carlo McCormick and artists Futura2000 and Zephyr made DJ Trueskills of Soundclash Entertainment feel inspired. So the Wex house DJ, aka Visitor Experience staffer Adrian Willis, created a playlist in anticipation of the event, which is presented in conjunction with the exhibition To Begin, Again: A Prehistory of the Wex, 1968–89. Starting with Futura's legendary collaboration with The Clash and featuring classic hip hop tracks, the virtual DJ set creates an immersive sense of the creatively charged atmosphere from which the artists emerged in 1980s New York City.
