• Holiday happenings continue this weekend with CD92.9’s annual Andyman-a-thon fundraiser.
• Sohud Collective has Holiday Wonderland this weekend in North Campus, with over 50 vendors and live music.
• Holiday Hop is Saturday night in the Short North. One highlight is the annual Small & Wonderful exhibition at Hammond Harkins Galleries, featuring work by Laura Alexander, Laura Bidwa, Alteronce Gumby, Aminah Robinson, and many more.
• Ohio Art League is back with a holiday Thumb Box show Saturday night, too.
• Sunday brings The Merry Krampus, a “dark holiday market,” to Strongwater.
• Also Sunday afternoon, Ashley D. Pierce has a solo show opening at Lindsay Gallery.
• Craftin’ Outlaws is back Sunday with an in-person holiday market at the Columbus Museum of Art.
• And south of downtown on Sunday, German Village Makers Market is teaming up for a dual event with Village Lights 2021.
• Tuesday afternoon, the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum offers a Zoom chat with Lebanese illustrator and author Raphaëlle Macaron.
• Tuesday night, Rumba Cafe hosts the sixth annual Holiday Office Party live show and mini art market.
• The Ohio Arts Council has a couple of new opportunities: a call for curatorial proposals for the Riffe Gallery and a paid fellowship to create multimedia content for the agency.
• There’s also news from the Greater Columbus Arts Council. The grant organization jointly announced with CMA the recipients of 2021 Visual Arts Fellowship Awards; they include Wex friends Roger Beebe and Hannah Parrett. And GCAC will be hosting a hybrid version of its Annual Public Forum Thursday afternoon.
• Fiber artist Wendy Kendrick spoke to Black Art in America about her Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson Fellowship.
• This is big: the Ohio History Connection has reimbursed the Nez Perce Tribe for a collection of native objects the tribe was forced to buy back in 1996.
• Looking ahead, COSI makes superheroes the focus of its next COSI After Dark event Thursday night.
• Thursday evening, Columbus Modern Dance Company is opening its studio for hot cocoa and informal public performances.

• It’s the most wonderful time of the year: Artforum has published John Waters’s annual list of his favorite new films.

• Collector and MoMA board member Ken Griffin paid a record sum for a first printing of the US Constitution, beating out a collective of cryptocurrency enthusiasts who crowdfunded to purchase the document.
• The Met got a major cash infusion to renovate its Modern Wing from collectors Oscar Tang and Agnes Hsu-Tang.
