• This weekend, Contemporary Theatre of Ohio opens The Worries of Wesley (Or: How I Learned to Stop Having Anxiety, or Not Really, but I Am Trying).
• Sunday brings a celebration of the life and work of the late Columbus poet Charles “Is Said” Lyons.
• The performance group Women in Music - Columbus has disbanded after 141 years.
• The Columbus fashion design label Creamy Studios has been getting around in a major way.
• A study by the Cincinnati Regional Chamber found that the arts contributed $1.6 billion to the city’s economy.
• Next weekend, in addition to Friday’s exhibition opening, Saturday’s awesome concert, and Sunday’s must-watch film with a special guest, there’s a show of Rob W. Jones’ work opening Saturday at the newly rebranded Herbert Cooper Gallery.
• There’s also Gallery Hop Saturday, featuring the 13th annual Young Hearts Juried Exhibition at Sean Christopher Gallery, among other sights.

• The Whitney Biennial announced its lineup for 2024, with a focus on the current state of America. Congratulations to Ohio State faculty members Carmen Winant–cocurator of our 2022 exhibition Sharing Circles and a contributor to our 2017 show Gray Matters—and Dionne Lee for being named among the participants. Congrats also to Madeleine Hunt-Ehrlich for representing with a biennial work supported by the Wex’s Film/Video Studio.
