• Saturday afternoon, Pennington Custom Art Service in Clintonville opens Size Matters IX, its annual holiday show of small works in a variety of media.
• And all weekend, the Clintonville Arts Guild has its 37th annual art show for the holidays at the Whetstone Community Center, with a smaller-than-usual group of vendors to make some room for distancing.
• Monday afternoon brings the opening reception for Ohio State’s Global Arts + Humanities Exhibition to the Sullivant Hall Rotunda, complete with live music and dance demos.
• Poets Barbara Fant and J. Donta will perform at a Tuesday Open Mic Night at Freedom a la Cart.
• ReelAbilities Film Festival Columbus has a new crop of short films streaming November 17–21, including the autobiographic short doc Strange by autistic author Cameron Carr.
• Wednesday brings the online premiere of a documentary about the making of Mark Lomax, II’s 400: An Afrikan Epic.
• Also Wednesday, there's an online, lunchtime artist talk with Barbara Vogel via the Riffe Gallery.

• Columbus Metropolitan Library has a new show in the Carnegie Gallery: Bridging the Distance, presenting work by members of Ohio Prison Arts Connection through January 14.

• Theater artist Erika Tay Lane and choreographer Quianna Simpson were chosen to receive the new Artist Elevated Award from the Greater Columbus Arts Council.
